Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The tools run in your browser. Files are read from your computer and the results are saved back to it.

Which browser should I use?

Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a computer can rename, move and delete files directly in your folders. Other browsers work too, and give you the result as a download.

Can it handle big folders?

Yes, thousands of files are fine. Very large PDFs depend on your computer's memory.

Does OCR work in Arabic?

Yes. PDF to Excel reads real PDF text directly, and uses OCR in English, Arabic or both when an area is scanned.
